How nice that you come to visit us, you will soon feel at home with us to feel. Here you will find all information and tips about our campsite which we have been managing since 2014.
Our campsite is located in Ter Apel in the southernmost village of the primordial landscape Westerwolde, where the Netherlands originated. Ter Apel is the largest village in Westerwolde and has many amenities and sights.

We have invested a lot in recent years, we have two chalets built, Tipisch Ter Apel set up, built a beautiful camping raft. This everything was realized in part thanks to a subsidy from Leader. Over there we are very happy with it.
Toilet building
Moekesgat has a modern toilet block. The toilet block is located in the middle of the campsite and can be seen from all fields. Here are toilets, showers (free), sinks, outside taps and a chemical toilet.
Washing
There is a washing machine and dryer on the camping site.
Wifi
Free use of fiber-optic internet.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool, which is located next to the campsite, can be visited at a reduced rate (this does not apply to seasonal guests)
Pets
Dogs are allowed on the campsite, they must always be on a leash. The dogs are not allowed on the beach. (€ 3.00 p.n.)
Rest
After 10.30 pm it is quiet on the campsite and no music is played.

Safari Lodge (7 persons)
Three bedrooms with one double bed, one with three single beds and one with one double bed, the latter can be reached by stairs. Rain shower and toilet. Gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and complete kitchen equipment. Heating available. Duvets and pillows available. Possibility to rent a sheet package. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Chalets (6 persons)
Two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds. Furthermore, a loft (accessible by stairs); two single beds. Shower and toilet. Dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, senseo, kettle and complete kitchen furnishings. Air conditioning and heating available. Duvets and pillows available. Possibility to rent a sheet package. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Camping site
Spacious place (+/- 100m2), optional 6A power connection. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Camper place (paved)
Paved camper place, optional 6A power connection. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Caravans (4 persons)
Two single beds and one double bed. Coffee maker, kettle, gas stove, refrigerator in caravan and outside the caravan. Complete kitchen equipment present. Ring heater available. Duvets and pillows available. Possibility to rent sheet package. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Safari tent/glamping (6 persons)
Two bedrooms with one double bed and two single bunk beds. Gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, microwave and complete kitchen equipment. Duvets and pillows available. Possibility to rent a sheet package. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Group holiday
Wonderful overnight stay with a group of friends or association, optional 6A power connection. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Hiker's spot
Stay overnight in your own tent after a long walk or bike ride, optional 6A power connection. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.
Camping raft
Enjoy and spend the night on the water with max. 3 people. The raft has its own kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator. There is also a private toilet. The power comes 100% from its own solar panels. Check-in after 14:00 and check-out before 11:00.

There are two volleyball courts accessible to everyone.

The swimming lake is very suitable for supping, swimming and boating.

You can swim in the lake or in the heated outdoor pool.
Beach
All fields have a view of the beautiful golden beach with palm trees and a view of the lake.
Playground equipment
There are various facilities for children large and small. For the smaller children, for example, there are many play equipment scattered around the campsite.
Fishing
Fishing in Moekesgat is possible with a fishing pass.
Hiking
There are several hiking trails in Westerwolde. You have the Pronkjewailpad, the Westerwolde path (80 km) and the Noaberpad
Bicycling
For cycling enthusiasts, various cycling routes have been set out in Westerwolde. These cycling routes go through the beautiful, varied landscape and the beautiful, cozy villages.
Mountain Biking
The campsite is located next to the Westerwoldse forests, where there are more than 200 km of mountain bike routes, and is one of the longest in the Netherlands.
Beachhouse
The Beachhouse is used for: animation, watching Formula 1 on a big screen and other fun activities under roof.
